Displaying Reviewer Location & Country Flag

Display each reviewer’s city and country (along with a country flag) beside their review. This adds transparency, authenticity, and local credibility — showing visitors that real people from real locations trust your product and business. Because trust is bolstered and uncertainty reduced, you can expect higher conversion rates, reduced drop‑offs, and increased average order value.

When enabled, each new review will display the reviewer’s city and country along with a country flag. This information appears in both the app UI and embedded widgets, providing geographic context and enhancing authenticity. Naturally you have full control over how much, or little to show.

Shoppers may spend more time reading reviews when they see location data, leading to deeper engagement and improved purchase decisions.

How to use the feature?

1. Navigate to Display > Settings > Reviews.
2. Enable “Display Reviewer’s Location”.

• Option - enable the toggle for “Display City in Location” if you’d like to show the reviewer's city alongside the country.

3. Save Changes

Steps to enable the Country location, Flag and City name:

1. Go to Display > Settings, and click on Reviews tab.

2. Click on the toggle for 'Display Reviewer's location' feature.

3. Once you enable the location, it will display a new option called 'Display Reviewer's city in the location'. It will allow you to display the city's name for the reviewer.

4. Once enabled, you can see the Country name, Flag and City name for the future reviews that will be submitted after enabling the feature.

Note:

• Applies to New Reviews Only: Location details cannot be retroactively added to reviews already submitted before enabling this feature.
• Use Cases: Displaying reviewer location can enhance user trust, provide context, and lend authenticity to reviews.
