AI‑Powered Review Summaries & Sentiment Ratings

This feature provides automated, concise review summaries and sentiment ratings derived from customer feedback. The summary offers a short, high‑level explanation of what users are saying about a product, while the sentiment rating (on a scale of 0 to 5) quantifies the overall tone of the reviews.

Together, these elements help improve user trust, shorten decision time, and enhance the user experience by surfacing insights without requiring customers to read every review.

Feature Description

Review Summary

• The system automatically analyzes the latest reviews for a product.
• It generates a brief summary that captures the key themes, both positives and negatives.
• The summary may include frequent terms or topics drawn from the reviews (e.g. “fast shipping,” “durability,” “easy to assemble”).

Sentiment Rating

• Based on the content of the reviews, the system assigns a sentiment score from 1 to 5.
• • 1 = Very negative overall sentiment
  • 5 = Very positive overall sentiment
• This rating complements the summary by giving users a quick quantitative sense of customer sentiment.

Enabling the Feature

1. Go to Display » Product Tabs in our app dashboard.
2. Scroll to the section labeled “Show AI Summary Review” and toggle it.
3. If desired, enable “Show AI Sentiment Rating” to display the numeric sentiment alongside the summary.
4. Choose your preferred sentiment style (Emoticon, Gauge, Bar) in the settings.
5. Save changes. The feature should then begin analyzing reviews and displaying summaries/ratings in the product tabs widget.

Presentation (Styles)

You may choose one of several visual styles to display the sentiment rating:

1. Emoticon — face icons (sad → neutral → happy) corresponding to sentiment levels
2. Gauge — tacho gauge
3. Bars — stair bars

Viewing AI Summaries in the Dashboard

To access the AI‑generated summary for the products via the application dashboard:

1. Navigate to Products.
2. Click on the product name for which you want to see the summary.
3. The AI summary will be displayed on the product’s detail page.
