# Step 3: Create Promotion in PaCE™️ with a discount coupon

An active promotion can be included in any HelpfulCrowd email template by simply using the Promotion placeholder - the unique promotion name.

1.  Name - unique promotion name that is used in email templates
2.  Coupon - relevant coupon to attached to promotion
3.  Start date - first date promotion should appear in emails
4.  End date - last date promotion should appear in emails
5.  Template - promotion text and placeholders that should dynamically update in emails
6.  Preview - preview of how promotion will appear in email template
7.  Incentivized flag -  whether review should be flagged as being incentivized to comply with local laws.
8.  Save - save template

After saving the promotion, it can be included in any HelpfulCrowd email template.
