# Setup guide

HelpfulCrowd works straight out-of-the-box and starts collecting reviews when it receives the very first online order.  As a minimum though we recommend personalising [review request email templates](https://helpfulguides.crisp.help/en/article/personalise-review-request-email-templates-1x19e1y/) and connecting your [social accounts](http://www.guides.helpfulcrowd.com/getting-started/connecting-social-accounts)

To fully customise HelpfulCrowd just follow the built-in setup guide which walks you step-by-step through the most important customisation activities - as little or as much as you want.
