# Modifying the delay before the first email is sent

## ⏱️ Setting the number of days and trigger to send the First Review Request Email

To configure the **delay period** and **order status trigger** for the first review request email:

1. Navigate to **Review Collection**
2. Select [Email Templates](https://app.helpfulcrowd.com/cp/collection/product_review_emails)
3. Click on **Product Review**
4. Open the **First Review Request Email**
5. Click the **Edit** (✏️) icon
6. Under **Template Settings**, you can:
* Set the delay (in days) before the first email is sent
* Choose the order status that triggers the email
