# How to create a discount coupon in your eCommerce platform

**Everybody Love Discounts!** 

Use **discounts** to entice visitors to subscribe and spend on their first purchase, and more in future. You can create a discount code within your **eCommerce** platforms, and apply it as the code given for reviews through **HelpfulCrowd**. It will allow you to offer the coupon code based on certain conditions. So that the basic gist of it, and now let's dive into the **really simple & easy steps** about creating the discount :)

**Shopify**

To create a discount in your **Shopify** store, follow these instructions: 

1. Go to your Shopify Discounts menu.
2. Click "Create discount".
3. Create a discount with the rules you wish to apply.
4. Click "Save discount".
5. Enter the discount details in HelpfulCrowd by going to [Marketing > Coupon Manager > New Coupon](https://app.helpfulcrowd.com/cp/marketing/discount_coupons/new).
6. Save

**Ecwid**

1. Go to your Ecwid's Discounts menu under **Marketing > Discount Coupons**
2. Click "Add New Coupon".
3. Create a discount with the rules you wish to apply.
4. Click "Save".
5. Enter the discount details in HelpfulCrowd by going to [Marketing > Coupon Manager > New Coupon](https://app.helpfulcrowd.com/cp/marketing/discount_coupons/new).
6. Save

**Squarespace**

1. Go to your Squarespace's Discounts menu under **Commerce > Discounts**
2. Click on "+" icon.
3. Create a discount with the rules you wish to apply.
4. Click "Save".
5. Enter the discount details in HelpfulCrowd by going to [Marketing > Coupon Manager > New Coupon](https://app.helpfulcrowd.com/cp/marketing/discount_coupons/new).
6. Save

**Woocommerce**

1. Go to your Wordpress's Discounts menu under **Marketing > Coupons**
2. Click  "Add Coupon".
3. Create a discount with the rules you wish to apply.
4. Click "Save".
5. Enter the discount details in HelpfulCrowd by going to [Marketing > Coupon Manager > New Coupon](https://app.helpfulcrowd.com/cp/marketing/discount_coupons/new).
6. Save

**Lightspeed**

1. Go to your Lightspeed's Discounts menu under **Marketing > Discount Codes**
2. Click  "Add Discount Code".
3. Create a discount with the rules you wish to apply.
4. Click "Save".
5. Enter the discount details in HelpfulCrowd by going to [Marketing > Coupon Manager > New Coupon](https://app.helpfulcrowd.com/cp/marketing/discount_coupons/new).
